Today we present the Suzuki Swift GLX CVT 2022 Owner's Review. This year Suzuki released it in 3 variants with a naturally aspirated 1.2 liter engine that produces 82 hp and 113 Nm of torque. It is paired to a CVT transmission while a 5-speed manual transmission is also offered. Swift has been a popular car in Pakistan for many years and the new generation does not disappoint.
Purchase of Decision
The owner had a specific budget, taking into account Swift, Yaris, City and Nissan notes. He chose the Swift because luggage was not a problem with the sedan, but rather the equipment was the deciding factor. Swift offered many folds which gave her the upper hand and it cost Rs. 2 to 3 lakhs less than other options. He bought the car alone for Rs 5,000. 3.3 million
Featured and Features
Surprisingly, the Swift has almost all the features that are available in international models, another reason is that the owner bought this car. Features include push start, cruise control, rear parking sensors, automatic height-adjustable LED headlights, digital climate control, 16-inch alloy wheels with Bridgestone tires, steering controls and more. Safety features include 6 airbags, traction control, ABS brakes, hill start assist and more. Optional features, meanwhile, include an armrest, center flaps and a rear spoiler.
Drive
"Although the naturally aspirated 1.2-litre engine only
produces 82 hp, acceleration is impressive," says the owner. The CVT
transmission delivers power efficiently and overtaking is no problem. In
addition, the comfort is good and the drive runs very smoothly overall.
Fuel Average
The previous Swift's fuel average was an issue. According to
the owner, the 2022 Swift with AC achieves an average of around 14 kilometers
per liter within the city. He drove the car a few thousand kilometers, which
corresponds to the average fuel consumption. According to the owner, he has not
tried it for a long time, but the average fuel looks quite good.
Power AC
The owner seems happy with AC's performance and has no
complaints. "The AC is better than the Civic and the Corolla is a little
worse than the Grande," he added.
Parts Availability
The owner has not checked the availability of spare parts
and their prices, but they are available from dealers. The car is new so after
market parts are still not readily available but prices will definitely be
higher as the exterior parts like headlights are xenon which are often very
expensive.
Registration Tax and Annual Tax
Swift's registration cost is Rs. 66,000 and according to the
owner, the dealership will not deliver the car until the car is registered. The
owner isn't sure about the annual token tax, but it will be lower than the
previous Swift as it falls in the 1200cc category.
